Learner Work Experience Log Book
This logbook is full of useful information and advice to help learners prepare well for work experience. It will also help you to focus on the skills you already have and how to develop them further during your placement. There is a diary with spaces for you to make notes about what you have done each day and to record the skills you have developed.

This Log Book is separated into 4 key sections
Section 1: Before the work placement
It is important to prepare for your work placement so that you feel confident going to work on your first day and focus on what you hope to gain from the placement. This section of the Log Book provide students with the opportunity to recovered work related objectives their skills, values and qualities as well as key information about their placement.
Section 2: During the work placement
Your time spent on placement will allow you to look around you and get an insight into this organisation, carry out allocated tasks and also learn more about yourself – what you like and how you get along with people.
Section 3: After the work placement
It is important that you take time to reflect about what you have learned from your work placement. The activities on the following pages are designed to help you to do that.
